Sivic Solutions Group's services in the Systems practice is primarily in education, child welfare, healthcare and finance industries, with multiple web-based systems for case management, financial management, child welfare (SACWIS and CCWIS), Medicaid (MMIS), third party claims management (TPA), county finance information systems (CFIS), and cost allocation. SSG has developed client/server and web-based products, designed and developed custom software for clients using the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), successfully managed the entire Information Technology functions for clients using outsourcing models, and developed web-based software using Microsoft .NET Framework technologies and SQL Server database following the industry's best-practices and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Our Staff: SSG's Systems Development and Operations Center is located at Utica, New York. The 5,500 sq. ft. facility houses a large team of highly trained and experienced application developers, experts in systems development and data processing operations for web-based case management and financial management systems, cost allocation and time study systems, schools and social services federal claiming, third-party liability, and other revenue enhancement projects. The team currently performs all application development and data processing tasks, as well as related technical services for revenue enhancement projects on behalf of state, county and school district clients. Our staff thoroughly understand and strictly adhere to all internal policies relating to the privacy and secure handling HIPAA- and FERPA-compliant data.

Our Data Center: Our Systems Development and Operations Center in Utica, NY processes Medicaid (schools and social services), TANF, CHIP and Title IV-E claims, and hosts cost allocation, case management, financial management and time study applications for all our clients. The state-of-the-art data center is HIPAA-compliant and includes a centralized CPU environment containing multiple servers for all core applications, with well established backup and disaster recovery procedures. Our data center has UPS battery backup to support a two hour power outage and natural gas operated generators to provide backup power for an unlimited amount of time in case of major power failure.

Our Systems: All SSG systems are designed and developed to be very flexible, highly secure and open to interface with external systems using standard exchange protocols. All of our systems are designed to be fully open, web-based systems using loosely coupled n-tier Architecture, web services technology for interface to external systems. Our systems are highly configurable to support policy changes and provide real time standard and adhoc reporting tools and are designed to support policy changes with minimal modifications to the system code by using our state-of-the art architecture and design of the core system.
